The EAC-TAVS is a series of programmable high power AC voltage sources. Each system provides a three phase true sinewave output as standard. Each unit is built in a freestanding cabinet. The output frequency is adjustable in the range of 45 - 105Hz. Different frequency ranges are optional, with up to 805Hz possible. An RS-232 and CAN interface are provided as standard. The high resolution TFT front panel displays a host of measurement and setting functions. Besides standard models, other nominal power levels and voltages can be user specified. For example, a fiber optic transmitter at the HV level for waveforms to be received and measured or recorded by grounded instrumentation might be powered by an isolation transformer secondary to primary either insulated by potting, oil or air. The low dielectric constant of air insulation provides lower capacitive coupling between the secondary and the primary or ground than would solid or oil insulation. The lower capacitance provides better isolation both at line frequency and especially at high frequency voltages such as lightning or switching transients.

The MOS-01 manual oscillator module is used as a quality, general-purpose sinewave oscillator and digital readout monitoring system in the MAC-01, -02, or -03 AC Power Sources/Frequency Converters. The unit has guaranteed operating range of 20 HZ to 20 KHZ which is covered in three one-decade scales. The LCD digital metering system is switch-selectable to readout either frequency, voltage or current. A toggle switch selects the input for the attached AC Power Source/Frequency Converter to originate from the manual oscillator itself or from an external laboratory or programmable oscillator source. With oscillator mode switch in Internal position, the BNC connector delivers the signal to drive additional slave units or for oscilloscope sync or monitoring. BNC input/output is completely isolated with 1500 VAC breakdown and excellent common mode rejection. The oscillator modules must be factory installed and calibrated.

The LAB-MOBI is a series of multi channel High Power Bidirectional PSUs. Each system is able to operate as either a DC Source or a DC Electronic Load. This integrated approach features high dynamics enabling the user to switch seamlessly between quadrants. When sinking energy from the unit under test the LAB-MOBI automatically inverts the DC to AC and synchronises this output to the grid.
